It’s that time of year when all existing members need to renew their annual membership with Kenilworth and the ASA.
The total fees for 2013 are as follows:
Non competitive swimmers £25.00
Competitive swimmers £42.00 (those that wish to take part in ASA controlled galas and open meets)
Second Club £10.00 (Anyone already registered to another ASA affiliated club)

Kenilworth Masters took a crack team of 16 swimmers to Etwall Eagles 8th open meet. There was a team trophy to defend, a birthday to celebrate and Dr Rob & Loz' masters debut to observe. With feats of swimming endurance, a couple of silly hats and a post event curry, it was a fun day's swimming.
This years Christmas meal will be held on Saturday 15th December and following the success of the last 2 years we have booked The Moorings again. Tickets will be available soon, priced at £25.50 for a fantastic three course meal.
There will be a Secret Santa, so please bring along the most amusing gift you can find with a budget of £1 or perhaps treat someone to a homemade gift. There'll be a forfeit for those who come empty handed!

The 2012 Midlands Masters event was held later than usual this year but still saw a great turnout from the Kenilworth Masters team.
On Friday night ten Kenilworth swimmers did us proud in the 400m Freestyle, bringing home a clutch of medals.

Club stalwart Claire Goult hosted a successful fund-raising ball for the disabled children's charity Whizz-Kids last weekend.
Arranged to complement Claire's herculean effort in running the London Marathon, she raised over £1000 with the help and support of a number of Kenilworth Masters club members, some of whom sportingly (and impressively) got back into their Wedding dresses for the night.

KM Swimmers Recognised in FINA World Rankings
Kenilworth Masters swimmers efforts in the pool have been rewarded with places in FINA's final Top 10 Masters Rankings for 2011.
Whippersnapper James Wardle (pictured) was placed in both the 50 (8th) and 100 fly in the 25-29 age group.

Kenilworth Masters Swimming Club was found in 1987 and has been going from strength to strength ever since. We currently have a total of 130 members ranging in age from 17 to 86.
