Claire has a Ball Raising Cash for Whizz-Kidz
Club stalwart Claire Goult hosted a successful fund-raising ball for the disabled children's charity Whizz-Kids last weekend. Arranged to complement Claire's herculean effort in running the London Marathon, she raised over £1000 with the help and support of a number of Kenilworth Masters club members, some of whom sportingly (and impressively) got back into their Wedding dresses for the night. KM Swimmers Recognised in FINA World Rankings Kenilworth Masters swimmers efforts in the pool have been rewarded with places in FINA's final Top 10 Masters Rankings for 2011. Whippersnapper James Wardle (pictured) was placed in both the 50 (8th) and 100 fly in the 25-29 age group. Kenilworth Masters is 25! On the 30th of June 2012 Kenilworth Masters swimming club will celebrate its 25th birthday with an extravaganza at the Pump Rooms in Leamington Spa. The event will be a cornucopia of eating, drinking, dancing, singing and merriment of the highest order. Tickets, which include a 3 course dinner, are £27 and available now from committee members. Kenilworth Masters Swimming Club was found in 1987 and has been going from strength to strength ever since. We currently have a total of 130 members ranging in age from 17 to 86. Amongst our competitive ranks we can proudly boast a collection of World, European and National champions and record holders as well a great number of enthusiastic, dedicated and committed members whose talents do not reach to such exulted heights.
