Malta Swim Camp 2008

Joy Stevenson is looking to organise a week's swim camp in 2008. From doing a bit of research with people, the favourite seems to be Laurie's Swim Week in Malta

Date: 25th to 30th May 2008 (half term)
Location: Sliema, Malta
Sessions:
1 x 2 hr session on the 25th
1 x 2 hr session on the 30th and
2 x 2hr sessions all other days (10 x 2hr total)
Pool: Outdoor 8 lane 50m pool (there is also a 25m pool for those not training)

Price: £245 includes full board accommodation, transfers to and from airport and all swim sessions (flights not included - budget around £200 for the flights)

The hotel is the Sliema Metropole

If you don't fancy the hotel Joy can enquire as to how much it would be just for the swimming.

Laurie currently has 17 places available (numbers are restricted to 30 in total) and says that we need to provide numbers by the end of December to ensure we get the places we want.

He's also mentioned that for each swimmer joining he would like to gather information on what training they are doing at the moment as well as what are their main competitive events to ensure he meets their needs from the training camp.
