Swim Therapy - Is it any good?

Michael Phelps better watch out
J.S. is coming

"John Smith recently visited SwimTherapy for one-2-one swimming technique coaching. Here is what he had to say about it:

"I was instantly impressed by the superb facility they have, it consists of an endless pool equipped with 4 cameras all linked to computer and monitor equipment. There is also a shower and changing area. The session consisted of a number of short swims that were videoed and analysed by the coaches who were very knowledgeable, through and helpful.

I concentrated on freestyle. It was evident extremely quickly that my stroke was very inefficient under the water, I had know it wasn't great but was amazed at how poor it was. It was a real eye opener seeing my stroke on video form above and below the water. Little by little small changes were suggested and made to my stroke resulting in a completely unnatural feeling pull. The changes were videoed and then shown to me. The end result is a new and greatly improved freestyle pull.

I would thoroughly recommend a session at SwimTherapy to everyone at Kenilworth Masters, whether a seasoned master, triathlete or just getting back into swimming, I can't praise the results enough. It has helped me immensely to improve my technique and significantly changed the way I swim for the better. I feel like I'm getting far more speed for no more effort, who doesn't want that?"
